Join us Sunday, October 15th to remove invasive scotch broom from Minnekhada! This event will take us off-trail, allowing you to explore parts of the park that are otherwise close to the public! As the event will be off-trail, sturdy shoes are required for the hike. This event is 16+
Approx. Schedule:
· 10:30 am – Meet at Parking Lot and hike up to the location (*arrive
15 mins early to find parking/sign in)
· 10:45 am – Tools, Safety, and Invasive Plant Information
· 11:15 am – Pulling Invasive Plants
· 12:00 pm – Water/Snack Break
· 12:10 pm – Pulling Invasive Plants
· 1:00 pm – Clean up and Hike back
· 1:30 pm – Back at Quarry Road parking lot
