Park History

We are more than just hiking!

Minnekhada Regional Park is a 200 hectare park consisting of; a natural park with trails through woods and along a marsh; an historic Lodge, once occupied by Lieutenant Governor Eric Hamber; and a farm, that is not currently open to the public. Forest, marsh and rocky outcrops make this regional park a gem to explore any time of year. The network of quiet trails are great places to hike and watch for wildlife.
