Live staking on mid-Marsh trail and fence protection. Live staking works by taking fresh willow branches and pushing them into wet soil near a stream or river. This event is 16+. Sam from Metro Vancouver will be leading this activity and will supervise volunteers. His contact information will be forwarded to those that sign up.
Approx. Schedule:
- 10:30 am – Meet at Quarry Parking Lot
- 1:30 pm – Finish
What to bring:
· Water bottle with water, Snacks
· Sturdy shoes to work in such as hiking shoes (ankle support recommended)
· Clothing you do not mind getting dirty
· Long pants and sleeves, there might be thorns
· Dress for the weather
